Punti di Vista was founded by young volunteers in 1996 who came already in 1992 to restore the Convent when the Franciscan brothers were unable to continue to run the convent. The collective worked hard to rebuild the walls and the spirit of the place. In 2001 the Convent received approval as a hosting facilities. Pilgrims on the Via Francigena route would come to the Convent, and PdV opened the door of the Convent to welcome social tourism initiatives and then more and more to host residential seminars and cultural events.
